funniest blog camp moment: looking at the jump photos on maria's camera (even funnier than actually doing the jumping part).
bravest blog camper: seaside girl. we knew the least of her and she knew the least of us when she signed up, but she was so totally blog camp material. yay for seaside girl's bravery!
biggest surprise: finding out in the eleventh hour that extranjera knew how to crochet! (tho' kristina did have to point out to her initially that she was knitting and was likely to run into problems when she didn't have a second knitting needle.)
least like blog self (a.k.a. much more wacky in real life than blog self reveals): polly!
one who posed for every picture: polly (but she is really cute, isn't she?)
bloggy name that sticks the best: polly again!
best idea to come out of blog camp: it's a tie: 1) iwantadanishman.com (must check on availability of both domain name and cute/available danish men) and 2) blog camp 1.5 in the UK in august.
most like her blog self: Julochka! What you read is what you get! (and the camera really is attached to her face!)
most clever photo of blog camp (and there were MANY): kristina! she wins this one hands down!
most memorable quote: Extranjera "I am actually quite pleasant."(said perfectly seriously with a faint note of surprise in her voice)
most determined: B - there was no way she was leaving Denmark without seeing the little mermaid
It's very little. Like the size of B's head and bears none whatsoever comparison to B's head.

And I totally mean that the Mermaid is the size of B's completely normal size head. Since I'm pleasant and stuff.
so either the mermaid is really tiny or B is big-headed?
Compare them...
Same size.
but I was there you know. and they really weren't. really.
Are you calling my Canon a liar?
To Canon: Shhhh Baby, she doesn't mean it. She just has a knife stuck to her scull, that can make one angry... Shhhhh.
I'm saying your Canon might not have been itself at the time, what with the heatstroke and all.
(which none of the Nikons got, but that's a different matter altogether...)
I don't think i can take all this hostility from multiple sides now.
It's breaking my gentle spirit (and my Canon's too).
oh darling, you know I love you - and your camera :-)
Oh no. Now there's some weird love going on here. I don't know what to think...
These posts have all been so much fun! I thought of another question....did you all refer to each other by your real names or your bloggy aliases....because once I know someone as one name, it's really hard for me to switch. Thoughts?
Weird, I'd totally mixed up not-really-Polly and Seaside Girl in all the other photos. Thanks for illuminating me. Uh?
I've been planning all kinds of deep and meaningful questions for y'all post-camp but laryngitis has stolen my brain the last few days. And truthfully I was hoping for some scandal but you all just sound so damn nice, and like you really, truly had a good time. Sigh.
Jealous.
x
I'm so slow i'm 'still' catching up on who is who. RUBBISH!
I am generally known as Spud when i go on internet freaks meet ups. It's very surprising when someone calls me by my real name!
That mermaid is tiny. I must have popped her in my washing machine at some point. I shrink everything.
Clarifying: Mermaid's size is the same as a real person, so not so small and totally worth visiting. Maybe a small real person, so maybe as small as me, yeah. I'm short, yes, I'm over it. But I'm not big headed, head is proportionate. End of! Please, don't make me almost cry again, Ext, now that I"m over being 30! :)
And, thanks, Kristina for noting the truth in my absence (where was I when this discussion was going on? Offline, so I didn't exist for a while there...
I crossed out the words myself.
Don't cry. (Although I did the crossing out prior to your crying, but premature thoughts count too, right?)
Went to look in the mirror. Head normal, I think. Boyfriend agrees. So I won't cry!
I guess premature pleasantness also counts. :)
I feel vindicated now that I realized yjay already in my first comment I called B's head completely normal size.
What's that?
It's not?
Oh my. This changes things....
You're misunderstood, you are! Just reread the whole thing (These are some crazy dialogues we have going on here!)
I do apologize (being very English now!). My normal size head must have gotten confused.
you all so needed ribbons like they give out at camp
It took reading all of the blogs before I figured out who every one was. And then it still took another 24 hours for me to be sure. Haha! It truly looks (and sounds) like you guys had a wonderful weekend!
Now... what can I sell to pay for a ticket to Denmark?...
On the other hand, I have lots of space in Reno, NV for people to stay (6 or 7?) and Lake Tahoe is only about 35-40 minutes away...
Oooh, Reno..I'd so totally be in for that for a blog camp USA.
I will volunteer my house. We have Lake Tahoe, casinos, an normally endless blue sky, and depending on the weekend there are events (Labor Day weekend in Sept. is the Rib Festival. Yumm!).
OK, Sara, you're on...email me and let's set a date!
suckerformarketing@gmail.com
sara - i suggest you try to do it labor day weekend so it's at the same time as blog camp 2.0--then we can try (perhaps practicing beforehand -- which we didn't do at 1.0) to go live together on stickam! or at least do live chat sessions in the comments. :-)
I could be there labor day weekend!
Labor day it is! Boyfriend has agreed and my ex has agreed to trade child weekends so my house is open!
Seriously? Sweet!
B... I wouldn't have leaft without that visit too... so I'm with ya :)
